Summertime Pink

As we get ready to transition into fall, I've been trying to relish as many of my favorite summer looks as I can before the season changes. Of course I will still carry my love of dresses through the fall, but for now I am still enjoying my summertime pink dresses.

Fall is a time for darker colors whereas spring and summer are times for lighter colors such as pink and white. This past year I found myself wearing a lot of white, partly because I was a bride earlier this year, but I also found myself incorporating a lot of pink into my style. It's such a flirty, fun, and feminine color. This dress by Endless Rose is the perfect end-of-summer dress. It's light and airy, the shade of pink is stunning, and I love the multi-strapped sleeves (Felicia and I nicknamed this dress the "Strappy Strap Dress"). It's also an affordable version of some strap dresses I have seen this past summer season. Pair it with the perfect sandals or heels and the perfect summer bag, and you have the perfect end of season look! Sooooo lovely!

Hey Alyssa! In your opinion what is the “cut off” date or time for wearing white and florals and other summery wear? It stays pretty hot/warm until late October where I live so I can’t really wear fall clothes until then. Just wondering what you think! Thanks!

Hi Cristina! Just like you, in LA it tends to stay pretty warm until November. I will continue to find ways to incorporate white post-Labor Day and I will always wear florals no matter the season. I just tend to add darker colors to my wardrobe as the season changes, even my floral dresses.
