Something that's different about this summer from the last few summers is that we are actually getting to spend it in Los Angeles. For the last three years we have spent our summers in Canada, so it has been a real treat to finally enjoy a Southern California summer.

Besides off-the-shoulder pieces, another one of my favorite trends this summer has been fringe. It's a lot of fun to play off, and it's also a very transitional trend that will take us through fall (but let's not rush summer away too quickly!). I am a huge fan of Misa Los Angeles and I love how easy it is to mix and match their pieces. I couldn't stop twirling in this fringe top and layered skirt. This look is perfect for a summer party!
