Autumn in Copenhagen

Skipping ahead a little bit to our recent trip to Denmark! I was super excited to get the chance to visit Copenhagen again. The last time Tor and I were in Copenhagen, it was summer of 2014. Now, two years later, we made the decision in Spain to spend a long weekend in Copenhagen and enjoy its brisk autumn weather (as well as many other things that will be detailed in a later post!).

Tor and I easily feel at home in Denmark. Maybe we are slightly biased because my family is from there (my grandfather immigrated from Denmark when he was a young man), but whenever we walk around Copenhagen we seem to fit in with our sense of style. Tor's style and mannerisms are very Nordic (even though he is Canadian), so much so that wherever we went people began speaking to Danish to him right away! My style is very feminine but also quite Scandinavian. Having a Nordic and Scandinavian sense of style while living in a city like Los Angeles certainly has its challenges, but we find ways. Since we were traveling well into autumn in Copenhagen, our suitcases were packed with sweaters and jackets that we will probably have to wait until December to bust out at home! Back in New York, I attended the grand opening of Lafayette 148 NY's first storefront in SoHo. It was a casual but refined celebration of the modern day woman. I knew right away that this jacket would be perfect for the autumn season. It's lightweight but the patterns are just gorgeous! I took it with me to Copenhagen and I let the jacket do the talking. Pretty Coat, looks great with the white dress !
I wondered if you plan on doing a Live Q&A soon, as the last one was fun.

Thank you! Yes I do! Perhaps next week I will do another Q&A 🙂

Mrs. Coombs, I love all of your blogs. Your fashion sense has been such an inspiration. I was wondering if you were going to be doing any blogs on your recent trip to England as I am quite the Anglophile and would love to know where you like to go or eat. I’ve been to all the basic tourist spots but wondered if you had ever found any hidden gems.

Hi Brigid! Thank you so much! Yes I will be doing more London posts soon and will be returning in a couple of weeks. My site is also currently undergoing a redesign which will consist of travel guides for all the cities I have visited, including London of course! Stay tuned 🙂
